Just in case you wondered...

The Syrena 105 is a very cute but slightly sad-faced car which was produced in Poland until approximately 1983. By reputation, they're small, noisy, smelly, and smoky (750cc two-stroke engine) but charming nonetheless. It's a tribute to Polish ingenuity and determination that they were built at all. I like 'em.

I don't know if there is even one in the USA. But it's always fun shopping for them on Poland's answer to ebay, allegro.pl.

The word "syrena" means "mermaid" and also "siren" (like the thing in a fire engine.)
